Job Title: Stakeholder Officer

AES Business/Group: AES Holding B.V. Representative Office in Vietnam

Direct Line Report: Stakeholder Manager Vietnam

Working place: Ho Chi Minh City Office with up to 50% of time traveling as needed to Binh Thuan or other central Provinces

(I) Key Responsibilities:

This role will be part of the AES Business Development team and will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and in particular:

Responsible for building and sustaining visibility of the Company in the Central and Southern part of Vietnam.
Be able to develop professional relationships with external business partners and stakeholders while facilitating coordination, collaboration and negotiation activities with them.
Be responsible for providing all needed support for the completion of business development projects. He/she is in-charge of ensuring that all logistical and documentary requirements are completed on all business development activities.
Manage services contracts that the rep office enters with, during development stage such as payments / invoices / liquidated contract, etc.
Develop the periodical reports within and or outside the company.
Identify appropriate permits and licenses to be secured for a specific business development project.
Be responsible for the project coordination, liaising with partners, lenders and various state and statutory agencies.
Lead role in preparing the applications and following up the project and corporate permits and licenses.
Ensures adherence to the guidelines set forth by the regulatory and / or global in relation to specific BD undertaking requirements.
Prepare and liaise for the company to the business partners and stakeholders in compliance to the requirements set forth.
Manage public relations, communications, branding and advertising, events, and social media presence.
Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies including informing, consulting and involving them where relevant and evaluating the effectiveness of these strategies.
Advise senior management on issues and/ or risks to stakeholder relationships as soon as they arise so that risks can be managed more effectively.
Manage the effective delivery and ongoing implementation of stakeholder contact management system.

Overall outcome(s) of the position would be to build and maintain relationships with key external/ and internal stakeholders, develop and implement the Company's stakeholder engagement strategies for new business opportunities.
Assist senior management and business development team to effectively consult and engage stakeholders on relevant projects.

Manage stakeholder forums, meetings and special events of the Company in HCM city and other provinces as required.
Support all leadership communication and global roll outs of internal programs.
Build strong relationships with relevant industry agencies and local authorities for the right positioning of the organization.
Manage crisis communications.
End to end management of all key events in HCM city with right content, branding and collaterals.
Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned on an as needed basis.

(II) Job Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, public relations or communication with at least 3-5 years of experience.
Excellent language skills in Vietnamese and English.
Advanced computer skills including MS Office programs.
Good understanding of stakeholder management principles and tools and ability to apply these effectively.
Highly developed influencing and relationship management skills and ability to work closely with the team members and the community.
Great team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
An effective communicator with strong analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities.
